What is Checkout+

Checkout + is an optional way to enhance your experience with Atoms. At checkout, you'll see the option to add Checkout+ in your cart. If you would like to opt in, check the box for a more comprehensive ordering experience.

Checkout+ will be 3% of your cart's total value. With it, you'll receive:

• Protection against lost, damaged, or stolen packages.

• 5% cash back towards your next order with Atoms.

• Carbon neutral shipping to limit the impact of your order.

• An extended 90 day satisfaction guarantee.

Over the last several years, our customers have been giving us feedback about how we can improve the experience at Atoms and this was a way to help address several of those requests from our customers.

Over the years, we have seen an uptick in online shopping and with that a rapid rise in lost or damaged orders from increased volume with our shipping partners and porch piracy the day of delivery especially in large metropolitan areas.

The traditional way of filing claims with our shipping partners can take a long time to process, often requires the burden of proof on the customer with doorbell camera footage, and will even cap the insurance claim at $100 per order which doesn't cover the value of the shoes.

With our new insurance partner, we are able to improve the claim time, remove the barriers to file a claim, and cover the entire value of your order. You can file a claim here.

Customers have been wanting a rewards program but when we talk to most of our customers, they can't name any programs they like. They don't want to keep track of points or what it converts to and wait until some threshold is reached to use it. So we decided to simplify it by offering a flat 5% cash back on your purchase. There is no membership number to add. No accounts to login to beforehand to ensure you get your rewards. Simply add it to your cart and we'll send you an email after 30 days with your 5% cash back.

Over the years we have made strides throughout the supply chain to reduce our environmental footprint. As of writing this, we offer carbon neutral shipping on all UPS orders but we use a variety of shipping partners. This option allows you to offset your order regardless of how it is shipped and helps pay it forward for those who receive their package from a competing shipping partner.

We offer a 30 day return and exchange window for most of our products. However, there are plenty of situations where 30 days isn't enough time to understand if you are going to enjoy the shoes. This is a great option for first time customers and existing customers alike to try new models without the risk of them not working out like their previous shoes.
